...an old classic...

FROSTY THE SNOW MAN
Frosty the Snowman
Was a jolly, happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal

Frosty the Snowman
Is a fairy tale they say
He was made of snow, but the children know
How he came to life one day

There must have been some magic
In that old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around!

O Frosty the Snowman
Was alive as he could be
And the children say he could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me

Thumpetty thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpetty thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Over the hills of snow

Frosty the Snowman
Knew the sun was hot that day
So he said "Let's run and we'll have some fun now
Before I melt away.

"Down to the village
With a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all around the square
Saying "Catch me if you can!"

He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler "Stop!"

For Frosty the Snowman
Had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye saying "Don't you cry,
I'll be back again some day."

Thumpetty thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpetty thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Over the hills of snow

Are you missing the snow?
We haven't gotten any yet.
I'm sure it's coming though. Love you.

Man i am so behind on blogging. i really miss the snow during the holidays. Issac is growing up so fast! mommyhood is going okay, connor has colic! in the evenings i just want to die, nothing works. i am glad ryan is home by then so we can trade off! He however sleeps so good at night that is makes the days more manageable, I really hope he grows out of this soon. Its a dang good things he is just so gosh darn cute.

Jack loves when I sing him this song! I am glad you posted it. I love the classic Holiday songs. We had a drizzle of snow last night and today but nothing too serious. I might be eating my words later, but I am excited for the first big snow!

You and Jackson are on the same page, he was singing that the other day. I guess they have sung it in Nursery or something. By the way, he is out of nursery in about 6 weeks. I can't believe it. Also, I have a lot of pictures to post sometime this week, so check it out.
